Need help with Best Take on Apple TV? Start with the checks below.

Private Phone Voting

• Make sure the Apple TV shows the QR code and room code.
• Keep each phone browser tab open while the round is active.
• Check that the phone and the Apple TV both have a working internet connection.
• If a room expires or disconnects, return to the Apple TV and start a fresh private lobby.

Apple TV Controls

• Use the Siri Remote directional pad or clickpad to move focus.
• Press Select to activate the highlighted action.
• Press Back (Menu on older remotes) to return to the previous screen. During a game it asks before ending the session, and on the home screen it leaves Best Take.

Purchases

• Best Take comes with the Starter pack. Six more question packs (Best Friends, Family Stories, Hot Takes, Couples Night, Party Mix and Travel Tales) are in-app purchases. On the Choose a pack screen, select a locked pack, then choose Unlock.
• The All Question Packs Bundle unlocks every question pack, including packs added in later updates. It's on the same screen until you've bought three packs on their own.
• The Pet Avatar Pack (cats and dogs) and the Creature Avatar Pack (monsters and fantasy animals) are sold in Setup: while adding a player, choose a locked avatar, then choose Unlock. In a phone lobby, each pack also has its own button.
• If a purchase needs approval through Ask to Buy, it unlocks by itself once it's approved.
• Purchases can be shared with your family through Family Sharing.

Restoring Purchases

• Question packs: on the Choose a pack screen, choose Restore purchases.
• Avatar packs: while adding a player in Setup, choose a locked avatar from the pack, then choose Restore purchase.
• Restoring needs an internet connection and the Apple Account that made the purchase.
